  • Touche!

Thanks to TornadoChaser for letting me know that the subject of cloth diapers was covered quite well not too long ago.  I've been on an extended trip and missed that conversation.  It restores my faith in WOMANKIND!!
  • GIVE UP THE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS...

I've tried to navigate this site for quite some time and still haven't figured out exactly how it works.  I've found a few participants who have interesting things to say and helpful hints to pass along to new mothers or mothers-wanna-be.

I've decided, now that my feet are wet, I'm going to jump in the deep end rather than inch my way into the depths.

Some people won't agree with much of what I say.  That doesn't phase me in the least.  Perhaps, just perhaps, one little tidbit will make a positive impression on you and the way you do things.

And I'm going to start with a BIG BANG!

Are there any other mothers out there that will join me in trying to save this earth for our precious offspring?  Oh, yes, you say.  Only the best for my little Johnny and your little Susie.  I always dispose of my trash in the proper containers.  I'd never pollute a stream. I try to always buy organic foods, etc., etc.

                                                    GIVE UP THE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS!!!

Our grandparents and some of our parents used cloth diapers on us and we turned out all right, didn't we?  Sure; this means more time for laundering and folding nappies.  OR you can create more jobs and bring back the diaper services.  Not only will you boost the economy with the jobs you create, but you'll help stop the abominable travesty of dumping sites that are overfilled with components that will not break down for many lifetimes.

Besides, just think of the money you'll save.  If it's so important to you to tell us about your Pottery Barn crib and your designer baby clothes, I'm offering you a way to save for even more of those "who-gives-a-rat's-behind" items.

Money's not a problem, you say.  Then count your blessings, increase your donation to a charitable organization and GIVE UP THE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS.  Are we so fixated with what's more comfortable for us and even what smells nicer and doesn't produce red, chapped hands that we're willing to add to the burden of the children of our children.

GIVE UP THE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS OR GIVE ME ONE  INDISPUTABLE REASON THAT SHOULD EXEMPT YOU.

I scratch my head in consternation at the topics that seem to be uppermost in the minds of new mothers or soon-to-be new mothers. You're about the undertake the most important duty that could be afforded to anyone. Are you preparing in the proper way?
